Hey Foxes,
It's been a minute, hasn't it?
Firstly, I have a PSA (public service announcement) to make. I'm back, but I did have a hard time trying to figure out what I was going to do next.
2018 was vivid, wild and amazing. I did so much, achieved numerous goals and I got to work with a number of amazing brands again. I started this blog four years ago, and it's been the best thing that I've ever done in my life. Heck, I've had some ups and downs, but mostly ups.
But.... self-doubt crept on in and I needed some time off, I needed to find myself again. There were times I would sit in front of computer screen feeling unmotivated, especially with Instagram. In all honesty, I would really beat myself up about my content, views, impressions. I was constantly comparing myself to other Instagrammers feeds. I'm a strong advocate of not comparing yourself, but I did. I was torn from creating stories, to what people actually want to watch and view and have a curated feed. Having a curated feed has been one of my biggest challenges. This would literally drive me up the wall, and I started to forget why I started blogging in the first place. My mood was changing, I was getting a little down about things and I just wasn't happy.
I knew I needed a break and in November I finally got it. I went offline and embraced the present. The universe has a weird way of doing things, but it was the best break I'd ever had. I made memories and I questioned myself and my direction of where to go next, I was unsure, I felt a creative dead end. I needed to reflect on all the awesome things I had achieved, rather than giving myself such a hard time. I want my readers to achieve their dreams, I want to write about things that matter to me.
I'm back now and stronger than ever, and this time I've got a lot to write about, and a lot of styles I want to share. I'll always give my honest opinion, and as you all know, I only accept collaborations with brands I truly believe in. I've made a list of goals that I'll be achieving, and I hope you've written yours down too.
Hold on tight foxes, we're about to go above and beyond.
Ready Foxes?
Let's go...

Fashion week is one of the most exciting time. I love the energy of the events, I admire the different runway shows and concepts, and I really adore seeing the latest fashion and makeup trends walk down the runway. I've been attending fashion week for years now. I wanted to give you a few of my own tips that I've learnt along the way for you to be prepared.
We've all been there, we've all had our doubts in what we've chosen for the show and how we secretly want to be photographed candid #streetstyle while in our best outfit. So, how do you prepare? How do you get rid of all your concerns about attending fashion week?
Firstly prepare your outfits at least a week before, don't be like me and be last minute. I've been there, it's so stressful and I've noticed that's when the doubts creep in a little quicker than usual. Your room will most likely be a mess too, and you'll feel rushed. When i'm not planning outfits last minute, I like to hang my outfits on the rack, take photos and try them on to see what will suit. I create at least three different outfits for one event, in case the weather changes. I check the weather too the night before, it's so unpredictable.
2) Fashion week is a time for experimenting with your outfits and accessories! It's so fun to dress up, you can wear literally anything out of the ordinary. Wear something that you enjoy wearing, and that you'll be comfortable with. I enjoy wearing "loud" pieces of clothing during fashion week, colourful, prints you name it I'll wear it. Just be you and be confident.
3) Charge your camera and phone or bring a portable charger. Oh and bring another SD card just in case your first one gets full quickly by all the photos you've snapped.
4) Make sure you have all your dates and runway shows written down in your diary or phone.
5) Gather the crew. This is meant to be fun too, if you have your friends with you to attend the runway shows, it'll be less daunting and enjoyable.
And lastly, HAVE FUN. Enjoy the runway. I like to take a few photos/videos and then upload them after. I use to be glued to my phone and I wouldn't enjoy the experience! But now I photograph my key looks and enjoy the rest.
PS
If you're looking for a statement outfit then check out Revolve Clothing! They have an amazing range of designers and styles. These jeans that i'm wearing are from my favourite brand GRLFRND denim.
