Tips on dressing like a Parisian Woman
I admire French women, from their beauty routine to their easily pleasing aesthetic style. French women just know how to dress, and so far their minimal style with key pieces is something that I'm constantly lusting over. It's not over the top, but not underdressed, it's simply just right. The French women have perfected the everyday outfit with effortless style from top to toe.
These are the following key investment pieces I swear by when creating your Parisian capsule wardrobe with a little spin on my own taste.
The investment blazer
Having a blazer is key essential to any Parisian inspired outfit. It's a key investment piece. Finding the right one for you depends on your own colour/style. I personally love this one from Viktoria and Woods, the gold detail on it just finishes nicely with any outfit. I've worn this blazer a lot, it's a great investment piece. I also think tartan/checkered blazers are très chic also, so find one you'll fall in love with that'll suit your style.
The straight denim jeans
Ah! How times have changed, remember when we wore skinny leg jeans? Well wearing straight legged jeans are in! Investing in a good pair of denim jeans is a must I also find this style is way more flattering on me since I'm hourglassed shaped. I also love wearing these with a belt or belting up my blazer. If you don't want to spend too much, check out the outnet.com for a bargain designer jean. These ones are from Acne.
Stack it up, dainty gold accessories.
I'm so in love with accessories now. I use to be really lazy and forget to wear my rings and necklaces, but I've made it my mission to remember! It's amazing how it can just instantly change up your outfit, especially layering your accessories gives it that French street style vibe. Pandora has the chic's rings and pendants.
Flat Shoes
Although French women are renowned for kitten heels, the laid-back French style go-to is a pair of flats! Especially if you're running errands every day. For when you're on the go, these little babies from hush puppies feel so comfortable and supportive, but still so stylish.
The bum bag/ micro bag
Ah, honestly, this trend was hard for me to adapt to, but that was until I found the perfect little bum bag from Mimco! It works as a belt strap too. If you're going to Europe this is best to invest in one, so you'll have your bag right in front of you at all times. I like to also wear this as a cross body bag, it also works as a nice accessory/belt too, giving your outfit that "extra" style to it.

OSCAR OSCAR: BLONDE SEASONS.
Having been named after my blonde locks, finding the right hairdresser to achieve the perfect blonde is a serious mission. I'm pedantic when it comes to colouring my hair.
My hair has a mood of it's on, I like to change it with the seasons. I have my hair coloured three times a year. During the cooler winter months, I like to have my hair a little darker than usual. This means warmer tones of blonde or having a balayage effect. I enjoy having balayage because it means less maintenance on the regrowth. When summer arrives and the sun's rays start to peak in, I want to be a lighter spring/summer blonde. This means regrowth almost completely vanishes and I'm a total blondie!
This year I went to Oscar Oscar Doncaster to do the transitions throughout the different seasons. Oscar Oscar renowned for their luxury celebrity services, style cutting, hair styling & hair colour services with Australia's best hairdressers Australia wide. The salon is pristine and luxe to perfection. The service is unbelievable from start to finish and making you feel right at home. Drinks are provided and complimentary treats.
Each session I received the KÉRASTASE Fusio-Dose, the customised ritual resolving hair challenges instantly, to transform your hair while you relax with a hot towel and scalp massage.
Luxury bespoke hair treatments designed to be blended to target specific hair concerns. Shimmer, repair, moisture master serums for an indulgence with the highest quality oils and plant extracts with a soothing massage. This helped keep my hair healthy and strong.
So, let's talk about the two elements of hair colours I've had done so far.
The Balayage Effect by Elliot
Elliot who is the artistic director, created the perfect balayage to suit the cooler weather. The foxy locks were still blonde but had subtle warmer tones throughout. The regrowth was evenly blended by Elliot's technique of applying the dye by hand and sectioning it throughout. He's hilarious, fun and really easy to speak to, this is something that I look for in a hairdresser since you're sitting there for a few hours! Elliot also cut my hair, with only the slightest of layers and the perfect blunt cut, which was exactly what I wanted.
He also does a fabulous blow wave and curls!
The le BLONDE FOX by Sarah.
Sarah is the salon's manager, master stylist and master technician. Another great personality to sit with for hours! Sarah brought back the blonde to le BLONDE FOX. Sarah evenly sections out my hair and did the foils back to back. She takes her time as she sections out each piece and strain of hair. She's so patient and is really passionate about perfecting the right colour. I'd never had anyone be so perfect at a full head of foils with the right colour.
I was so pleased with the results with both Sarah and Elliot, and I can't wait to go back!

9 to 9 style with RUBI SHOES
I like to wear an outfit I can wear from morning to after 5. That's right! I'm talking about a solid outfit that I can wear from the early brisk cold mornings with a hot cuppa coffee in my paws, and into the evening of the dancing nights with the cool air and kicking up my heels with my girlfriends after a few coffee martinis.
You heard me right, it's coffee from sunrise to sunset. Perhaps that's why I'm usually hyper and so enthusiastic throughout my day..... Maybe I should cut down on that? Nahhhhh.
Besides being a coffee addict, I thoroughly love a versatile outfit that I can wear throughout the day. But it's the shoes that will be the make or break your outfit. I wore this outfit from day to night and all I did was change my shoes from Rubi.
MY 9 AM OUTFIT
I'm currently all for this 'casual Parisian trend' that we Aussies have slowly adapted to. This means cigarette jeans or 'mum jeans' with a sleek blazer and a basic coloured t-shirt/jumper to complete your très chic outfit and of course with a pair of comfy mule sneakers. For that fox on the go, I'd wear this outfit out for lunch, catch ups or even to a casual meeting.
MY 9 PM OUTFIT
I paired my très chic outfit with a pair of dusty pink mules. Giving it an overall glam night out look. You know, even just having these in the boot of the car will come in handy in case you have an important meeting to attend or a last minute invite to an event. This is my classic go-to winter outfit to go out to a bar with my foxes for a catch-up and laughs over coffee martinis.
It's amazing what a pair of shoes can do for your outfit.

How to be a #Girlboss ft Review Australia
We're in the digital age and it's time to shine and be your own entrepreneur in what you're passionate about. So how can you be a down right #girlboss?
Firstly whatever your game is you always need to be organised!
I like to plan my weekly schedule on a week map. I also have a notebook for blog ideas and photo shoots and of course the o'l diary for locking in dates for events, photoshoots.
REPLY to your emails on time! It's true sometimes I've left them there in the inbox floating for a few days, but I'll always reply and try to reply on that day.
Be passionate about what you're doing! If there's no passion then I'm not too sure what'd it be? It'd feel like a job you hate doing. So if you love what you do it won't ever feel like a chore.
Network, network and more NETWORK! If you're not a social butterfly, then spread your wings baby and learn to fly because you'll need to become a bit of a talker to up your creation. If at first take a friend with you who is more outgoing and help you speak to contacts and work together. Learn to breathe, I'll be honest sometimes before big events I'll be super nervous, but once I'm in that atmosphere I'm so relaxed and flow with the moment.
Post what's true to you, I've always been 100% on my posts and Instagram, but this year I'm going to write more of these topics to help others learn!
Listen to others who gave great advice and learn from your own mistakes. Don't take people's opinions to heart, but don't beat yourself up, just learn and keep on being you.
Be kind, there's no need to be sassy. If you do encounter someone who's mean or rude during a conversation, simply say "oh I'm thirsty I'll be right back" or "I just have to quickly go to the toilet" And viola you're free from negative people. Plus usually progressively during the night they'll move onto someone else.
Learn to rest and repeat. This is something that I've struggled with, I'm always on the go, I'm always looking for that next big thing. I've now taken a step back a few days and to reflect on everything I've achieved and rested myself and soul.
